Hot Buttered Rum
A creamy spiced cocktail perfect for those cold winter months.
Ingredients
Vanilla Spiced Butter
- tbsp Unsalted Vital Farms Butter
- cup Light Brown Sugar
- tsp Vanilla Extract
- tsp Star Anise
- tsp Cloves
- tsp Pink Peppercorn
- Cinnamon Stick
Cocktail
- oz Hot Water
- oz TTO Dark Rum
- tbsp Vanilla Spice Vital Farms Butter
Instructions
Make the Vanilla Spiced Butter: Heat butter & spice in pot on low until melted.
Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.
Strain spices & store in a nonreactive container.
Prepare the Cocktail: Add hot water and rum to preheated mug.
Stir in Vanilla Spice Butter until dissolved.
Garnish with nutmeg & star anise.
