We have explored alternatives to corn and soy. Options such as fish-based feed and black soldier fly larvae are available; however, we’ve found that these alternatives have tradeoffs, such as taste and sourcing challenges that would drive up costs for both the farmers in our network and the consumers who purchase our eggs. Our team is continuing to explore alternatives that can scale with our growing network of farms.
