Ingredients

Dry ingredients:

  • cup all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon salt
  • cup dark or light brown sugar
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup dried apples (roughly chopped)
  • cup butterscotch chips

Wet ingredients:

  • Vital Farms Eggs
  • cup plus 1 teaspoon Vital Farms Unsalted Butter (melted and divided)
  • teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Layer the dry ingredients in the 32 oz (4 cup) jar.

  2. Print and the labels and trim with scissors. Alternatively, use a pen and paper to create your own label using the directions below.

  3. Poke a hole through the label and fasten to the jar using ribbon or string.

  4. Gift to your recipient with Vital Farms Eggs and Butter.

  5. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly butter an 8-inch square baking pan with a teaspoon of butter then line with parchment paper.

  6. Combine 1/2 cup melted butter, eggs and vanilla extract in a large bowl.

  7. Add the contents of the jar and stir to combine.

  8. Transfer batter to prepared baking pan and bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.
