Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

Vanilla Spiced Butter

  • tbsp Unsalted Vital Farms Butter
  • cup Light Brown Sugar
  • tsp Vanilla Extract
  • tsp Star Anise
  • tsp Cloves
  • tsp Pink Peppercorn
  • Cinnamon Stick

Cocktail

  • oz Hot Water
  • oz TTO Dark Rum
  • tbsp Vanilla Spice Vital Farms Butter

Instructions

  1. Make the Vanilla Spiced Butter: Heat butter & spice in pot on low until melted.

  2. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.

  3. Strain spices & store in a nonreactive container.

  4. Prepare the Cocktail: Add hot water and rum to preheated mug.

  5. Stir in Vanilla Spice Butter until dissolved.

  6. Garnish with nutmeg & star anise.
